Downtown "Get Benched" Art Project 2008  PHOTO GALLERY

Positively Pewaukee and The Pewaukee Area Arts Council (PAAC) began their first partnership with a downtown art project…Get Benched! Together we worked to bring 11 decorated park benches to be displayed in downtown Pewaukee during the summer of 2008.

While we were off to a soggy start with the flooding in June, we finally had our grand unveiling and the benches were a part of the summer scene. We have many people that we would like to thank for their part in our first art project.

A huge thank you to Regency Home Builders for donating the time of their carpenters to build the benches and to Kitchen Kraft Builders for allowing the benches to be built in their warehouse.

Thanks John Miller and the Pewaukee VFW Post for allowing us to store the benches at their facility.

We would like to thank all the volunteers who came out and put the benches together, who
planted the flowers and who helped us move them when the weather was bad!

Thank you to the Village DPW who moved the benches to storage.
